To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what base year he intends to operate for the area of cereals set-aside scheme; and if he will make a statement.

This and other conditions applying to farmers entering the set-aside scheme will need to be decided in the light of the detailed Community rules yet to be established.
