HC Deb 24 March 1988 vol 130 c223W
38. Mr. A. Cecil Walker

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he has any plans to apply the proposals contained in the Housing Bill 1987 to Northern Ireland.

Mr. Needham

We are currently giving careful consideration to the provisions contained in the Housing Bill before deciding whether and to what extent they would be beneficial to current housing policy in Northern Ireland.

Some of the proposals may not be wholly relevant to the Northern Ireland housing situation because of its different administrative arrangement.
