To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he will make a further statement concerning implementation of the Financial Services Act 1986.

§ Mr. Maude
The Government intend to bring into force the remaining investor protection provisions of the Act, including the central requirement to be authorised or exempted, on 29 April. A commencement order will be made shortly.
