Mr. Strang

To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what was the total number of inspectors at the Health and Safety Executive in each year since 1979; what are the projected figures for each year until 1991; and whether he will list these figures broken down into factory, specialist, agricultural, mines and quarries, nuclear installations and explosives inspectorates.
