§ Mr. Menzies CampbellTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list by region the amount of expenditure incurred by central Government for the improvement of harbour facilities throughout Scotland in the last five years for which information is available.
§ Mr. Michael ForsythThe Department of Agriculture and Fisheries for Scotland and the Scottish Development Department operate financial aid schemes for all Scottish fishery harbours and ferry harbours throughout the Highlands and Islands. Assistance may be by grant and/or loan. The total expenditure for the five years up to 1987–88 is as follows:
