To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster how many applications under the enterprise initiative have been received by his Department's regional office in Newcastle.

DTI/NE Newcastle had received 138 applications for consultancy assistance under the enterprise initiative up to and including 17 March 1988.
