§ Mr. KirkwoodTo ask the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make it his policy that responses received to consultative documents issued by his Department be made publicly available in his Department's library, except where the respondent has specifically asked that this he not done; and if he will arrange for this procedure to be made clear when future consultative documents are issued.
§ Mr. ParkinsonConsultative documents vary widely in form and purpose and accordingly each such case needs to be considered on its merits. However, I will bear in mind the hon. Member's suggestion.
