§ Mr. Ian StewartThe Hercules C-130 which made an emergency diversion to Carrasco in Uruguay on 9 March, proceeded directly on leaving Carrasco, to Ascension Island. At no time did the aircraft come into contact with aircraft of the Argentine Air Force.
