§ Mr. WigleyTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Services what evaluation has been made by his Department of the contribution of qualified psychiatric nurses to the success of the community care initiatives relating to mental illness and the use of such qualified nurses by local services in these initiatives.
§ Mr. NewtonThe contribution of all care and support staff will be taken into account in the evaluation of the care in the community pilot projects which is now under way. It is hoped the evaluation will be completed in 1989.
