§ Mr. KirkwoodTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) when he intends to issue a circular to local education authorities on the keeping and disclosure of pupil records; and when he expects to table regulations in Parliament;
(2) when he intends to issue a consultation document on the keeping and disclosure of records concerning students in further education establishments; and when he expects regulations to be tabled in Parliament.
§ Mr. Michael ForsythMy right hon. and learned Friend will honour the undertaking given to the hon. Member in April 1987 and will make regulations dealing with access to education and social work records, if possible by the end of 1988.
