§ Mr. Douglas HoggWe have received recent representations from seven hon. Members, one local666W council, one police authority, one constituency Labour party and one chamber of commerce about the funding of police costs of national annual party political conferences in a number of areas.
We have considered all these representations carefully but have concluded that we would not be justified in departing from normal police funding arrangements in these cases.
