Mr. Peter Walker

Details of regional selective assistance offers (exceeding £5,000 and regional development grant payments cumulatively exceeding £25,000 in any quarter) to individual companies are published inBritish Business following a payment under the grant concerned. No information has been published about grants payable to North Wales Newspapers Ltd. in respect of this project. Both the RSA and RDG schemes are linked to the provision of employment opportunities but aspects relating to the terms and conditions of employment and trade union recognition are not subject to the formal criteria of the schemes.
