§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Land Registration Act 1988, which implements the Law Commission's recommendation in the report Law Corn. No. 148 that the register of title at the Land Registry should be made open to public inspection, received Royal Assent on 15 March. The Act will be brought into force by commencement order made by the Lord Chancellor.
