To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment which Government property assets have been the subject of sale and lease-back agreements with private institutions since 1979.

We do not keep records as far back as 1979. But we certainly know of no such cases during the last three years involving properties on the civil estate held in the name of my right hon. Friend.
