Mr. Menzies Campbell

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list the number of(a) physiotherapists, (b) speech therapists, (c) radiographers, (d) chiropodists, (e) occupational therapists, (f) dieticians and (g) laboratory technicians employed by Fife health board in the last five years for which information is available; and what current vacancies, if any, there are.

I refer the hon. Member to my reply of 3 November 1987 at columns687–8 to the hon. Member for Cumbernauld and Kilsyth (Mr. Hogg). All members of Fife health board are currently on four-year periods of appointment.
