§ Mr. Luce[holding answer 4 March 19881: As regards council staff, an equal opportunities policy is part of the council's personnel work, and monitored by its senior management. In respect of its clients the council looks at their equal opportunities policies as part of its evaluation procedures.
No separate account is kept of the cost in either case.
