To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will commission a report on the present disposal method for domestic refuse in East Antrim, future land fill operations and alternatives to present procedures, including the possible use of waste-derived fuels.

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what financial assistance is available to district councils in East Antrim for carrying out a research and feasibility study into alternative methods of waste disposal in conjunction with a local university department.
