§ Mrs. RumboldThe school teachers' pay and conditions document 1987 gave local education authorities greater flexibility in the payments they make to supply teachers, including the possibility of adopting a standard rate for all such teachers. It is for each LEA to decide how to use this flexibility: no information is held centrally about the policies of individual authorities on payments to supply teachers.
