§ Mr. ScottThe latest date for which information is available is 1985. Pensioners' weekly investment income, expressed in 1985 prices, rose on average from £11.20 in 1970 to £12.80 in 1985, a real terms increase of £1.60, or over 14 per cent. The upward trend has, however, not been constant.
