§ Mr. MellorOur policy in the conventional arms control field was set out in the statement issued at the NATO summit on 2 March, a copy of which has been placed in the Library of the House. Negotiations on the global elimination of chemical weapons are being pursued separately at the conference on disarmament in Geneva. They have made progress, but many complex issues remain to be resolved.
