§ The Attorney-GeneralSince becoming Attorney-General I have received about 100 letters from Members of Parliament and the public about the "Spycatcher" case. Several of these letters have raised the question of investigations or prosecutions in relation to the allegations to which the hon. Member refers. I have referred correspondents — and also the hon. Member — to the Prime Minister's statement of 6 May.
