To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what financial assistance is to be provided to the National Museum of Wales for the financial year 1988–89 by his Department; and if he will make a statement.

Subject to the agreement of Parliament, grant-in-aid to the National Museum of Wales in 1988–89 will be £11,354,000.
