Dr. ThomasTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he next intends to meet the chairman of the Nature Conservancy Council to discuss the future of nationally owned nature reserves.
§ Mr. MoynihanMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State attended a meeting with the chairman and other members of the Nature Conservancy Council on 25 February at which a number of matters were discussed including national nature reserves. My right hon. Friend has no immediate plans for a further meeting, but we shall continue to take a close interest in the progress of the review of the NNR policy currently being undertaken by the council.
