§ Mr. John PattenThe findings of the report corroborate the approach which the Home Office has followed in directing its fire precautions publicity primarily at those groups most at risk from fire in the home. Local authority fire brigades use Home Office printed publicity extensively especially when associated with television, radio or press advertising campaigns designed to target selectively the most vulnerable groups. New ways of directing fire precautions advice to those most at risk are being explored.
