§ Mr. Michael Spicer[holding answer 26 February 1988]: All uranium imported into the United Kingdom for civil use is subject to Euratom safeguards and the terms of the United Kingdom-Euratom-IAEA safeguards agreement. In some cases it is subject to special safeguarding obligations agreed between the supplying country and the Community.
