§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe responsibility for the provision of air traffic control services rests jointly with the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Defence. I understand from the authority that the civil element of the joint air traffic control unit at RAF Boulmer is to close on 1 October 1988, and the civil air traffic control tasks undertaken by the unit will be transferred to other centres.
