Member for Warrington, South of 24 February,Official Report, column 203, on the second Severn bridge, he will revise the 92W vessels and infrastructure has been available at 50 per cent. of the gross cost of the project concerned. Prior to that date the standard rate was 30 per cent. but this was varied on occasion depending on the nature of the project. Since 1983 the Scottish Transport Group's subsidiary, Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd., have been awarded assistance from the fund as follows:

§ Mr. Peter BottomleyWhen we decide that forecast traffic growth warrants the construction of the second bridge, and how it is to be financed, we shall have to consider their implications for the finances of the present crossing.
