§ Mr. EggarThe successful outcome of the San Jose conference is recorded in the economic and political declarations, copies of which I will place in the Library of the House as soon as possible. The conference was a valuable opportunity for the Twelve to discuss the peace process with the Central American and Contadora countries. The Community's support for peace is clearly shown by the commitment to take additional measures to assist the region.
