To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what additional staff will be recruited by the London residuary body in the event of the abolition of the Inner London education authority.

Most of the executive work of the London residuary body in respect of the Inner London education authority will take place at a stage when the body's work arising from the abolition of the Greater London council has largely ceased. The question whether additional staff will need to be recruited will be considered at the appropriate stage.
