community health services pay and prices terms have been constructed by reference to indices maintained by the Department of Health and Social Security from English data: no separate pay and prices indices for Wales are available. The figures for 1987–88 are provisional.

2 The estimated outturn for 1987–88 excludes the additional £3.8 million announced on 16 December 1987.

Note: The totals include expenditure on the services for the disabled and the administrative costs of the artificial limb and appliance service which will from 1 April 1988 be transferred to the Welsh Health Common Services Authority.
