§ Mr. Donald ThompsonThe Agricultural Development and Advisory Service employs 180 chartered surveyors who have a sound basic training in forestry and the related questions of conservation and amenity in woodlands. This training will continue to be kept up to date in co-operation with the Forestry Commission. Twenty-four of these officers have already also received further specialist training under Agricultural Development and Advisory Service policy of continuing professional development.
