To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on his latest discussions with the Agriculture Ministers of the EEC.

The Agriculture Council last met on 8 February, and I reported the outcome to the House on 9 February in reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Dorset, North (Mr. Baker). Agreement on a number of key issues of agricultural policy was reached at the European Council on 11 to 13 February, which was the subject of the statement by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister in the House on 15 February.
