To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what financial aid the United Kingdom now gives to the front-line states in southern Africa.

In 1986, the latest year for which figures are available, the United Kingdom provided gross bilateral aid totalling over £80 million to the front-line states (Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe).
