§ Mr. ButcherThe Office of Fair Trading received a complaint from the Newspaper Publishers' Association about apparent collusion in the level and timing of price increases for newsprint. The office investigated this complaint and received assurances from United Kingdom manufacturers and importers that they were not involved in any such agreement. However, the office is keeping the matter under review.
