§ Mr. Gummer[holding answer 29 February 1988]: The average rent payable is £24.75 per week. The average gross weekly earnings of keepers are £177.31.
§ Mr. Ron DaviesTo ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what information he has on the level of rent presently being sought by the Forestry Commission from the keepers of the New Forest.
§ Mr. Gummer[holding answer 29 February 1988]: The commission is seeking an average "fair rent" of £24.75 per week from the keepers.
