HC Deb 02 March 1988 vol 128 cc608-9W
Mr. Ashley

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list the medicinal products made by Eli Lilly and its subsidiaries which currently have product licences from his Department; and if he will indicate which can be purchased without prescription.

Mr. Newton

[holding answer 23 February 1988]: The medicinal products requested are recorded in the following list, which does not indicate whether the products are currently available since marketing decisions are for the licence holder. Humulin and Nu-Seals aspirin are licensed for pharmacy sale without a prescription. All the other products listed are available only on prescription. It should be noted that a number of the products have varying strengths and dosage forms which each have separate product licences.
