§ Mr. MellorMy right hon. and learned Friend has no present plans to visit Geneva in connection with arms control talks. We, along with our NATO partners, receive regular briefings from the United States on the progress in the US/Soviet nuclear arms negotiations. The United Kingdom delegation at the conference on disarmament is playing an active role in the negotiations to ban chemical weapons.
