To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what new initiatives are planned to assist job seekers to obtain employment in areas of high housing costs.

My Department is co-operating closely with the Housing Corporation in its planned development of the job movers scheme which has recently been introduced under the auspices of the Department of the Environment.
