HC Deb 01 March 1988 vol 128 cc549-50W
Mr. Wigley

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Services when he hopes to be able to announce arrangements for the implementation of those parts of the Disabled Persons (Services, Consultation and Representation) Act 1986 which have not yet been implemented.

Mr. Scott

The Government have always made it clear that implementation of the Act would be phased and dependent upon discussions with the local authority associations to identify resource implications. These discussions are continuing.
