§ Mr. ScottWe estimate that the total amount to be distributed to charities in England, Scotland and Wales will be about £7 million. This sum will he paid to charities whose work broadly benefits those who have lost out as a result of the error. We have been discussing with the voluntary sector the way we can best meet this objective and how funds should be distributed and we shall make a further announcement as soon as possible.
