§ Mr. LeeIt is not possible to say how many overseas visitors to the north of England in 1987 landed at Manchester airport. But the international passenger survey indicates that around 328,000 overseas visitors landed at the airport during the year. The Government are committed to the airport's continued development and have so far approved investment of over £66 million.
