§ Mr. Barry FieldTo ask the Attorney-General what action he is taking about the writs recently served on right hon. and hon. Members of Parliament.
§ The Attorney-GeneralThe proceedings to which my hon. Friend refers are brought by one Anthony Hill who styles himself "The Christ". An application has been made to the High Court by the Treasury Solicitor acting on behalf of my right hon. and noble Friend the Lord Chancellor as one of the Defendants named on the writ, seeking to have the proceedings struck out as against all the defendants. I understand that the application will be heard in the Sheffield district registry on Thursday 30 June. In these circumstances, I do not consider any action on my part to be presently necessary.
