On what date they intend to launch the British campaign in connection with the EC Child Safety Year.
§ The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (Lord Young of Graffham)The EC information and awareness campaign on child safety is expected to be launched in October this year and will run throughout 1989 and 1990. The opening ceremony will probably be in Brussels, but campaigns will effectively begin in all member states on the same date. The exact timing has yet to be agreed, and the details of the campaign are currently under discussion by the Commission and member states.
