§ Mr. Douglas HoggI understand from the chief constable of Wiltshire that over the period of the summer solstice police resources were concentrated as a priority on the maintenance of public order and prevention of mass trespass in the Stonehenge area. Nine vehicles were impounded following the attempted occupation of Stonehenge by a group of people on 16 June. Subsequent checks showed that eight of these were unroadworthy and they have been retained by the police.
