§ Mr. LangI last met officials of the East Kilbride development corporation on Tuesday 7 June, when I had the pleasure of announcing the establishment in the new town of the Motorola Semiconductor Company's European design centre. We discussed the successful conclusion of Motorola's plans to bring to East Kilbride the full range of its manufacturing, assembly, test and design operations and to create the largest centre of its type in Europe.
