§ Mr. David MitchellI attended the annual conference of the Association of Railway Preservation Societies and attended functions on various preserved railways by invitation. Officials of the Department of Transport have had various consultations with officers of preserved steam railways mainly about safety. A list could be prepared only at disproportionate cost.
