§ Mr. WorthingtonTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report a list of road, bridge and tunnel facilities in Scotland for which tolls are levied, with a note for each entry of(a) the name and address of the responsible authority (b) whether it produces published accounts for that specific facility (c)which Minister, is responsible for authorising changes in such tolls, and (d) on which (i) public expenditure programme and (ii) class, vote and subhead, the toll revenue and associated expenditure is to be found.

Erskine Bridge

- (c) The Secretary of State for Scotland is responsible for the authorisation of changes in tolls either:
- (i) on his own initiative after consulting the joint board and taking into account any representations it makes; or
- (ii) if the joint board, or any of the constituent councils, or a representative body of traders, vehicle users, and so on, request a revision of tolls.
- (d) Revenue and expenditure is the responsibility of the joint boards and does not appear in a public expenditure programme.
