§ 25. Mrs. Rosie BarnesTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he has any further information as to how the provision of nursery education in inner London boroughs is to be safeguarded following the abolition of the Inner London education authority.
§ Mr. DunnThe inner London boroughs will inherit from ILEA the responsibility for nursery provision in their area. They will not be able to discontinue or curtail significantly any existing nursery schools or classes without the publication and approval of statutory proposals under the Education Act 1980.
