§ Mr. NichollsThe Manpower Services Commission (now the Training Commission) has already investigated and, where necessary, responded to allegations about equal opportunities at Deptford skillcentre.
The Training Commission is committed to an equal opportunities policy for all its programmes and has taken many steps to put it into effect. As part of this, the Skills Training Agency recently issued an equal opportunities guide for staff and trainees, after consulting the Commission for Racial Equality and Equal Opportunities Commission.
