To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make it his policy to publish the report on the evaluation of the civil defence region No. 2 REGEX exercise.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether his Department has any intention of supplying gas detection equipment, as demonstrated to the delegation from the Soviet Union at Porton Down on 24 May, to local authorities or to the United Kingdom warning and monitoring organisation for civil defence purposes; and if he will make a statement.

Consideration will be given to the need for such equipment when current studies into the effects of chemical weapons and protective measures against them have been completed.
